Will the Rams Turbulent Year Continue into Next Season

This has been a very troublesome year for the St. Louis Rams. If you are into Football at all, you know what I’m talking about. They ended up the season at 3-13 and the fears of the 1990’s are starting to show their ugly head for that team again. Having been a huge fan of the Rams since I was a kid, I share this fear and hope that they can prevent a losing season next year.
I don’t recall that during the 1990’s they had the injury plague they had this year. So it is hopeful that if they get everyone healthy and review their preparation in the hopes to prevent this, that they can hit the ground running next year.
I do have one thing that really concerns me about the Rams. This one thing can ruin a team, I mean completely ruin it. If it isn’t corrected right away, I see this team having a similar record next year. This concern involves three of the Rams’ top players and the coach. It involves confidence and I talk about it at length in my December 30, 2007 blog entry. You can see my blog by clicking on the link below.
Unfortunately, beyond the initial concern that I talk about in my blog entry, there are further concerns as well. One of which is the front office of the Rams. These guys just can’t seem to get it together. On top of it all, when it comes to solving problems, all they seem to be willing to do is blame the other guy. Unless these guys can look in the mirror and realize that when a team does as poorly as this team did this year the blame starts with the person in the mirror, the whoas will continue for the Rams. As a fan this is something I DO NOT like or want to see. I will talk more about this in my next blog entry.
I do have hope that the Rams will dig out of this whole, overcome these problems and return the Superbowl soon. It will require everyone within the Rams organization to come together, as a team (a noble concept, wouldn’t you say?), and solve the problems that will make this team respected again.
