In ancient mythology we believe in the theory of Karma. It is the total sum of a man’s doings on this earth, his actions, good or bad are referred to as ‘Karma’. Each one of us takes the sum of these actions to the next birth as these are attached to the soul as it transmigrates and each one takes a new body. We believe in life after death, or in simpler terms the theory of Karma and sufferings may be understood as an outcome of one’s evil deeds in previous births or joys and virtues due to the goodness and kind works.
Some of the beings aspire to do good doings and in the process amass good karma and a good rebirth, while others due to their evil and antihuman works, strive to live a bad life after death in the rebirth and are regarded as bad karma.
We also strongly believe that this world is unreal or illusionary and all ambitions and desires to be sins. Therefore happy is the man who lives in total contentment.
According to another belief, the more one suffers in this world, the more of his sins are absolved and one transmigrates into a new body. The sufferings of human beings may be taken as an essential balancing act by God and therefore one should worth taking it in one’s stride.
