How To Make eBay Auctions Double Your Online Profits

eBay is a great way for anyone looking to get into online business, and there are many people who have recognized this opportunity and as a consequence spend a great deal of time figuring out which items sell the best on eBay.

Because EBay is the world’s largest marketplace with millions of dollars of transactions taking place involving hundreds of items of all sorts and varieties being sold each day, it can be your ticket to financial and personal freedom but only if you know how to play the game. eBay is the most powerful internet marketing tool in the world and used properly can double your online sales and profits.

Here are some ideas which don’t involve searching out junk to sell or filling your garage with all sorts of items bought wholesale.

EBay is in the top 5 most visited websites on the planet and is often the first port of call for people seeking knowledge or information about something they wish to buy.

People are willing to pay for information – in fact they would rather pay someone a couple dollars than do the research themselves. People want what they want – NOW!

So to my mind the best eBay business is an information business; yes that’s right selling e-books and ‘Special Reports’ is the best online business there could be.

Why do I say that?

Unlike physical products, information products take up no space (except for a few bytes on your web server) and once produced can be sold an infinite number of times with no storage or delivery costs whatsoever. Even better they can be delivered to the customer instantly thus satisfying the “I want it now” syndrome.

If you don’t already have ideas for your own information products, then visit ‘eBay Pulse’ which will tell you what people are searching for right now; it then doesn’t take too long to research that product area and produce a helpful information packed report which you can then package and sell over and over on eBay, the very place where people are looking because eBay pulse told you!

This is how to make it work for you:

Pay careful attention to your item’s title when you list it. Use words that people will search for not some fancy title that sounds good – think KEYWORDS.

Also list the item on your own website. eBay won’t let you publicize off-eBay sales in your listing so don’t do it or you will be suspended. However, you can refer to your website on your ‘Me’ page so put your website link there and a link to your ‘Me’ page in the listing. This means you may pick up extra sales from your site with no eBay fees to pay – it also allows you to drive more traffic to your website and have your other products seen.

Most importantly, when someone buys one of your eBay information products you should let them download it from a web-page you set up which avoids the problems of email attachments and possible viruses. It also allows you to offer another item for their consideration on the download page (a back-offer), thus creating additional sales and extra profits with little extra work.
