Barbecuing is considered an art of cookery where foods are being grilled. This can be done by simply barbecuing on wood with a stick held over the fire or by means of electric or gas grill. Cooking barbecue can be done in different ways and in different techniques depending on how you want.
You should remember that pork is not the only food that you can barbecue. It can be fish, seafood, vegetables, bread, and even fruits.
This grilled meat had been a constant company of people from one occasion to another. Whether it is cooked in wide varieties of recipes, the popularity of barbecue had taken the attention, heart and taste of people. They began yearning for more once they get a taste of this flamed meat.
A good barbecue should be well and properly grilled. The meat should be marinated first along with the variety of spices. Barbecues also come in small and large sizes but eating it in huge pieces makes it more enjoyable.
There are also barbecue that comes in big steel barrel or those with wood burning inside, wherein the chicken or pork is gradually being cooked on a sheet of brown paper. With this, only half of the barbecue is grilled and the other half is smoked.
There are lot of incorrect procedures in barbecuing and one of the main issues is when it is cooked in a grill with too much heat resulting to a burned outside and a raw portion inside. Keep in mind that the indication of a burnt meat is the appearance of black lines on the food instead of having brown or dark brown lines. So when you come across a grilled meat that appeared to have black marks, that meat was either cooked in a very high temperature or was exposed to heat for a long period of time.
Another barbecue tip to consider is the procedure of burning the meat’s fat. This should be taken with utmost consideration since burned fats are primary cause of cancer. Aside from this, it produces an unpleasant taste. In order to avoid this, ensure that you trim or take off the excess fat. You should make sure that all inedible part of the meat, bones and extra fat were properly removed.
