28 Days To Conceive

I delved into my collection of books for my Medical Guide to help me with some specifics as in the ordinal position of day of ovulation period in a 28-day menstrual cycle of women. I do not claim to be an expert on this but it sure helps to be armed with all the information one could get when trying to conceive.
Most women have 28 days menstrual cycle. During the nine days following a menstruation, blood begins to build and thickened gradually inside the inner lining of the uterus. This prepares the uterus for a possible fertilization or
simply, for housing a baby. On the 10th day, a fertilized egg is released from the ovaries and thus ovulation period begins. This lasts for three days and during these days, a woman is considered to be most fertile -- that is, she is very likely to get pregnant if she tries to conceive on these days.
A sperm, however, can live for as long as 6 days inside a woman's body, so conceiving 1-5 days before the first day of ovulation period can also result in pregnancy.
The blood lining the uterus will be shed out of the body along with the unfertilized egg, in what we call "menstruation" on the 25th day, if you fail to conceive. It's a cycle though, so the ordinal position is relative, but you can always use your menstruation period as your point of reference.
Lastly, it pays to be informed but do not forget spontaneity :)
Likewise, I can't help saying how Amazing God's work is -- the human body.
